Who is responsible

Nails by Niamh is run by Niamh Fraser-Lynton, a sole trader based in Keynsham. I am the controller for the personal data collected on niamhnails.co.uk. For any privacy question, send me a message through the booking form or on Instagram or Facebook.

Booking enquiries

When you send an enquiry I receive your name, email address, phone number (if you give it) and your message. I use this only to reply, agree a time and look after your appointment. The enquiry reaches me as an email sent through Resend, and you get a copy with the next steps. The form is protected against spam by Cloudflare Turnstile. The legal basis is that you asked me to get in touch about a booking (UK GDPR art. 6(1)(b)). I delete enquiries that don't lead to a booking within 12 months.

Deposits

Deposits are paid through Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and are never seen or stored by this website. Stripe keeps a record of the payment, which I need for my accounts (legal obligation, UK GDPR art. 6(1)(c)).

Analytics (Google Analytics)

I use Google Analytics 4 to see how the site is used, such as which pages are read and where visitors come from. Google cookies are only set if you click "Accept".

If you click "Decline", or make no choice, no cookies are set. Google still receives basic, anonymous signals without cookies or identifiers (Google Consent Mode), used to estimate overall traffic. Google Analytics does not store IP addresses.

Google Ireland Ltd. processes this data for me. Data may be transferred to the US under the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

Cookies and storage

You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of the page.

Instagram gallery

The gallery shows my Instagram posts through Behold. If the gallery has to load Behold's widget, your browser connects to Behold and Instagram's image servers to show the photos.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your data, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Get in touch using the details above. If you're unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
